Every slab True Grade Concrete pours in Lake County, Ohio carries a one-year come-back guarantee. If water pools on it, runs toward your house, a section settles or heaves, the surface scales or spalls, or a crack opens past 1/8 inch, one call brings us back at no charge. Hairline cracks that do not displace are normal and not covered.

What Is Covered For One Year
Grading and drainage: if water pools on a slab we poured or runs toward your house, we come back and fix it.
Settling: if any section drops or heaves because of the base we built, we come back and fix it.
Surface defects: scaling, spalling, or flaking of the finish within the first year.
Cracks that displace: any crack that opens wider than 1/8 inch or lifts one side above the other.
What Is Not Covered
Hairline cracks narrower than 1/8 inch that do not displace. Concrete cracks; control joints are there to put the cracks where they belong.
Damage from de-icing salts applied in the first winter, tree roots, heavy trucks before 28 days, or work done by others.
Color variation in stamped or colored concrete, which is normal in any hand-finished surface.

The guarantee runs one year from the day we finish and is printed on your quote and invoice. It covers the work we did on the base and slab; it does not cover damage from others, from heavy trucks before 28 days, or from de-icing salt in the first winter.

We come out and look before anyone argues. If water is standing on a slab we graded, it is covered. If you are not satisfied with our answer, we will put it in writing so you can take it to whoever you like.
